Skim chapter 1 of the course text book (Operating System Concepts with Java, 8th edition, by Silberschatz, Galvin, and Gagne) and then work exercises 13, 22, 23 (b only), 25, 30 (a-e only) on p. 43-46. Your answers should be typed or neatly hand-written. Your paper should include your name, the due date, and a list of the exercise numbers assigned. Each answer should be labeled clearly with the exercise number.

Bring the hard copy of your answers to class on the due date.
